Plains Rally

Spectators

A Message to all Visitors to the Plains Rally

The organisers of the Plains Rally are very pleased that you are able to join us on this year’s event.

We are able to offer spectator viewing in Alwen and Dyfnant and we would be grateful if you could restrict your viewing to these two venues. Please park in the designated car parks. Parking elsewhere, to save the car park charge, causes untold problems for this, and following events, and threatens the continued use of venues. That track or gateway is potentially the access route to a local property, it's someone’s driveway or place of work. Think carefully how you would feel if someone you don’t know decides to randomly park their car on your driveway. If the answer you come up with is that you would be angry, then please don’t do it to others… By parking somewhere other than the official spectator car parks, you not only run the risk of causing problems within the local community, you also deprive a local community group of some income, not the organising club. We would be grateful if you restrict your viewing to the designated places. Forestry land, in some places, is still impacted by windblown trees following Storm Darragh. Windblown trees are very dangerous, they are known as widow makers for a reason! The event is using Aberhirnant as one of our stages, and we know this is a popular spectator location, however, due to ongoing forest operations, we are not able to provide a viewing opportunity in Aberhirnant this year. Respectfully, we ask that you DO NOT go to Aberhirnant.

Thank You

Information is normally released 14 days before the event.

Please keep an eye on this page and our social media channels for all the latest information.

Car Parks are £10 per car and these are operated by local community groups to raise funds for their group so please support these and keep our sport positive in the local community.
