This is the only forest spectator stage. Enter the forest roads from the A470 at Aberangell and follow green, directional spectator triangles, through the forest tracks to grid reference 124 / 794½ 109. Please pay particular care and pay attention at junctions and NO ENTRY signs. You will be directed to parking on the forest track, where there is ample parking on the approach to the stage. Please park on the left and do not double park as this could inhibit access for emergency vehicle putting safety / lives at risk. There will be extensive competitor traffic in this area so please be aware. This is a demanding stage for competitors, for the safety of drivers it is vital that the start, finish and access areas remain free of spectator traffic.

Massive thanks to Mick Jones for the use of his wood yard as a spectator stage and we would ask you to respond in your support and respect for Mick's home and working yard. Please be aware that CCTV is used to monitor the location and security staff are enforced.

Directions: The wood yard is located adjacent to the A490 at Guilsfield, approximately 5 miles North of Welshpool. From Welshpool town centre, follow the B4381 (A458) to Dolgellau, at the roundabout take the fourth exit and follow the A490, Llanfylin. The wood yard stage is around 4 miles from the roundabout, at grid ref' 125 / 193 132.

From Oswestry: follow the A483 to the Llynclys crossroads (jct of A438 / A495 / B4396), turn right onto the A495, follow to the junction with A490 (approx 7 miles from Llynclys crossroads) and turn left onto A490 to Welshpool. The wood yard stage is about 2.5 miles from the A495 / A490 junction. Follow the spectator arrows and please park as directed.

Extensive parking within the stage is available, 'NO PARKING' restrictions will be policed on the A490. BEWARE of rally traffic in both directions. Entry and exit will be restricted during the running of the stage and we expect spectators to remain in position for the duration of each special stage. In light of this we ask that you please plan your day accordingly.

There is No Smoking in the industrial complex, catering and WC facilities with commentator and results services are planned. Mick and the Plains organising team aim to make it an enjoyable spectacle, we need you your support.
