The 2008 Plains Rally ran a Prize Draw to raise funds for the WAA and we appealed to all Competitors, to buy generously when purchasing tickets for the Prize Draw at Signing On.

Rally Marketing of Welshpool donated a 'signed by Colin McRae' framed copy of Colin & Nicky Grist driving a Works Skoda Fabia on Colin's very last WRC event.
Following a discussion with the donor (Rally Marketing of Welshpool) it was decided to auction this superb piece of historic memorabilia at the Prize Presentation.
Our M.C presentor Bob Milloy did an excellent auctioneering job and auctioned this magnificent piece of Colin McRae History, for the grand total of £170.00 to Owen Le Roy (driver of car 38).
Brilliant.
